Lots of things: 1. Beautiful old building and gorgeous setting. 2. Convenient to Florence. 3. The pool was greatly appreciated given how hot it was. 4. We also enjoyed the pizza and cold cuts that Marco prepared on our arrival. 5. Marco was very helpful during an anxious moment Sunday morning when the #11 bus into Florence was 30 minutes late. He called a cab for us, then canceled it without complaint a few minutes later wen the bus belatedly arrived.
